Food for Children in Aringay through AGFCO

Our Class 61 brother, The Reverend Franklin Frigillana, is a deeply-committed pastor, covering his ministry in New York and in Aringay, La Union. He and his wife, Estrellita, are active in a program called Amazing Grace of Faith Community Outreach (AGFCO). It is a community outreach of the Filipino-American Senior Citizen of Queens, New York Inc.,and supported also by the Christava Tamil Koil.

As a church initiative it provides food for children of low income families to supplement their needs. It also provides young people with activities and training based on Christian principles and living, and prepare them to hold adult responsibilities. Church couples are helped to understand their marital commitments and to live their faith and vows.

AGFCO’s outreach presence in Aringay Community Center was started in February 2009 by a member, Ms. Teresita Sacayanan. She started a feeding program in Aringay with a small group of 75 children. The feeding program continues.

AGFCO develops Christian spirituality among the youth, to encourage them to “know and grow” through providing and connecting them with known speakers in topics and issues of Christian principles.
