Baguio City: 100 years in the making
A well-spent good 11 minutes viewing on Youtube an organized set of still photos from the early times of Kafagway to the present times. I was specially struck by the vivid images of the earthquake effects, known to me only from accounts of friends or from still photos. How horrid, this natural calamity, and to happen in Baguio of all places in this universe. It also brought about some images of rays of kindness, hope, and caring, from the post-earthquake photos of people staying in tents or taking away debris or bodies. Baguio has certainly arisen from the ashes of the earthquake, a stronger, more resilient and most prepared to celebrate, in a grand way, its 100th year anniversary this year. So dearest friends, do set aside some time for your viewing of this well-done video. I directed all my friends to the URL indicated above, to be able to view and give them a brief 100-year-history of Baguio. Please do the same, I assure you - they'll love it.
